MMemory Armory

Privacy Policy

Privacy, kept local by default.

This policy explains how the Memory Armory iOS app handles information. Memory Armory is an offline-first personal collection vault. It does not require an account.

Effective date: September 15, 2026

Information the app does not collect

Memory Armory does not send collection records, photos, documents, serial numbers, storage aliases, declared values, or usage analytics to a developer-operated server. The app does not use advertising identifiers, ads, third-party analytics, or automatic cloud synchronization.

Information stored on your device

Collection records and attached media are stored in the app's local storage. The database uses SQLCipher and media files use AES-GCM encryption through CryptoKit. Local preferences and lock state are stored on the device. The app's local vault and media directory are excluded from routine system backup by the app; this does not change what you intentionally export or save elsewhere.

Photos, camera, and Face ID

Purchases

Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Memory Armory receives product, transaction, and entitlement status needed to unlock features. It does not receive your payment card number. Apple's handling of payment and App Store account information is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

Links opened by you

Some rule-reference pages are provided as links to official or reference sources. When you tap one, it opens outside the app and that website's operator handles the resulting network request. Memory Armory does not transmit your vault contents with those links.

Exports and sharing

When you explicitly export or share a file, the copy is sent to the destination you select in Apple's system share interface. Once a copy leaves the app, access to that copy is controlled by the destination and by you. Temporary export files created inside the app are cleaned up after the share flow and by later housekeeping.

Deletion and retention

You can delete collection items and their attached local media from the app. You can also remove the local vault through the app's data controls. Copies that you intentionally exported, saved to Files or Photos, or included in a backup are not deleted by deleting the in-app record; remove those copies from their destination separately.

Support messages

If you email support, the message and any information you choose to include are received by the app operator's email provider and used to respond to your request. Please do not send serial numbers, access codes, or sensitive documents unless support specifically asks for them.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices materially change, this page will be updated before the change takes effect. The effective date above identifies the current version.
